A Personal Note From Pratik....
My Background & Experience
I graduated in Dentistry with First Class Honours from Cardiff University in 2009 before completing Senior House Officer jobs in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Frenchay Hospital (Bristol) and Paediatric Dentistry at the prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital (London).
During this time, I was awarded Membership to the Joint Dental Faculties by the Royal College of Surgeons, England. Since 2012, I have worked in general dental practice whilst focusing my postgraduate training in Implant Dentistry.
I passed my Masters in Dental Implantology with Distinction from Bristol University and am qualified to provide Conscious Sedation. Even for the most anxious patients, offering sedation makes dentistry simple and comfortable. I have completed further postgraduate Aesthetic and Restorative Training with Basil Mizrahi, a world-renowned dentist, to offer more advanced and comprehensive prosthetic dentistry and a certificate in complex gum treatments.
I enjoy teaching and mentoring colleagues in the field of implant dentistry. This is primarily as an Honorary Clinical Lecturer and Unit Lead for the Bristol University Masters in Dental Implantology but also through my role as an International Team for Implantology (ITI) Fellow, where I serve as a Study Club Director and Nurse Coordinator to help teach my colleagues new to implantology.

Bal qualified from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Dental School in 2008 and went on to gain extensive hospital experience in consultant-led departments, including Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Special Care and Sedation, Paediatrics and Restorative Dentistry at King’s College Dental Institute, as well as Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Bristol. He holds postgraduate memberships with the Royal Colleges of Surgeons and has developed a particular interest in Endodontics, completing an MSc in Endodontics with Merit and achieving a distinction in his final dissertation.
Bal provides expert endodontic care at our clinic for both our own patients and taking referrals from practices in the region. He enjoys managing complex root canal treatments with a calm, careful and evidence-based approach. He has considerable experience treating nervous and anxious patients and is particularly known for his gentle touch and reassuring manner. His priority is to make patients feel comfortable while providing high-quality treatment and care. His combination of expert knowledge, extensive experience and genuine care for his patients makes him a valued part of our team.
Vanessa Neves DMD

Vanessa Neves graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry of Lisbon with a Master’s Degree in Dentistry and has been caring for patients in the South West of England for over 10 years. She provides a broad range of general and routine dental care and particularly enjoys family dentistry and building long-term relationships with her patients.
Vanessa has a warm, caring and approachable manner and takes the time to get to know her patients. She particularly enjoys treating nervous patients, helping them feel relaxed and comfortable in the dental chair. Her gentle approach and focus on communication allow her to provide high-quality care while ensuring patients feel listened to and involved in their treatment.
Karen Morrison

Karen Morrison is a highly experienced Dental Hygienist who has worked for many years in leading implant referral clinics, including closely with Pratik for over 8 years to support patients with gum disease and implant care. Her extensive experience, gentle approach and thorough attention to detail make her a valued member of our team.
Karen is passionate about helping patients achieve and maintain healthy gums through personalised care and education. She takes the time to explain what is happening and why, including the important links between gum health, general health, diabetes and nutrition.
She understands that many people feel nervous about visiting the hygienist and takes great care to make every appointment comfortable and relaxed. Many patients have seen Karen for years and continue to value her clinical expertise, friendly manner and the confidence she gives them in looking after their oral health.
Gemma Sheridan

Gemma is a highly accomplished dental nurse with a passion for providing exceptional patient care. With 12 years of experience in the field, Gemma has become a trusted professional within the dental community and we are delighted to have her leading our team.
Since qualifying as a dental nurse, Gemma has worked in both NHS and Private practices across Wiltshire. She has extensive knowledge and expertise in many areas of dentistry gaining additional post qualifications in implantology, IV sedation and radiography to help patients through all stages of treatment.
Teaching and supporting colleagues has become an integral part of Gemma’s career, enabling her to train dental nurses to the highest standard. Gemma co-founded the International Team of Implantology (ITI) nurse group, working to help nurses across the globe achieve greater results by delivering tailored implant courses. We are so proud to say that Gemma has officially become the world’s first ITI fellow as a dental nurse – a huge achievement!
Known for her compassionate and attentive approach, Gemma has always put patients at ease, providing them with the utmost comfort and support throughout their dental journey. Gemma’s dedication to delivering personalised care has earned her the trust and gratitude of countless patients.
